I see that #Musk's #X is limiting the visibility of my posts in an unprecedented way
posts that used to get 1000s of views before #Musk are now almost invisible
I keep staying on #X to follow those I'm interested in. You can also find me on #Mastodon,#Bluesky

@rolle This is why I’m on the Fediverse, bridging with BlueSky. Because I’d be happy to federate with them, if they’d open up as standard. But they don’t. They want to keep to themselves unless someone explicitly says they want to bridge to Fediverse. That’s the reason I don’t really trust BlueSky. Did you see the European PDS, EuroSky?

Here's where it gets interesting.Any post I sent last night that was visible to users on other instances remains there.I can't delete it, because I can't see it on my instance. Auto-delete won't delete it either, for the same reason.In terms of people's ability to control their data, this is a problem. It affects all #Mastodon users.It's also a problem Mastodon has known about since December 2022, when I sent them a suggested fix: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/22154Which they ignored, as usual.
