    @itgrrl for desktop, it's still Fedora. Still rpm and dnf. I've tried other stuff over the years, but Fedora is the right combination of responsible adult stewardship, good taste both technical and aesthetic, good package selection, up to date packages, and a deep bench of technical talent that makes good choices...e.g. systemd is configured appropriately and correctly. I use the standard Gnome desktop spin.
