Sometimes surprises come when you least expect them. A few months ago, I helped an acquaintance install a #MikroTik router at his house. He is very happy with it; it does excellent load balancing and failover over 4G.
A little while ago, he sent me a message about how "Back to Home" helped him bypass the limited connection at the hotel he is currently in.I hadn't tried it yet, so I did a couple of tests.
It's really practical and quick to set up. Well done, MikroTik! @mikrotik

@stefano Amazing, thank you for sharing (and caring!), seeing someone go from "Help!" to "Take a look at this feature!" -- one of the best feeling in the world, isn't it? 🙏 😼

@mikrotik it is, especially because this person isn't a networking expert. This means that it just works. In a private and secure way.

@lorenzo @stefano It's a smartphone app that allows beginners to easily add a secure Wireguard VPN server to your MikroTik router, and then access your LAN from anywere, even if your home ISP does not give you a public IP (it uses hole punching and other magic). It also allows you to send files from your phone to your router, then get shareable links with one click, like a local dropbox. https://tiktube.com/w/xrV55T1D4yHjmaDV22yZpD
