Ha! Fuck that shit. Just blocking all Bluesky mentions is easier. I'm not playing in that cesspool.

So you found on the fediverse a post from a bluesky user, and it was interesting enough, for you to take the time to reply to that post.
He's not gonna read your reply, but since few days, at least, they remind you.You can do 3 things
- enable the bridge, so he can read your reply
- user block the whole bsky.brid.gy instance so you will never see a post from bluesky users again
- keep reading those bsky.brid.gy persons, considering them just read-only bots -

And no. Instead I blocked the bridge and added it to my filters. I prefer my social media to be a discussion, not a broadcast.
Others can do as they like, but I don't follow or engage people who don’t engage back.

as i mentioned, it's a totally legitimate choice, you can consider bsky.brid.gy an instance you are not interested interacting with.
Just a thing about this particular user you tried to interact with.
I won't say that he's someone who is not willing to engage back, he chose what we can say it's a sub optimal social network, but he took the extra effort to make all his posts available and engageable on the fediverse.
