#AskFedi does any of you have an idea of what this chip is? It's a 16-pin 4-port usb hub. It's not a SL2.1A from CoreChips nor an HS8836A. I would like to replace it (because, as you can see, it released the magic smoke), but I have no clue what to replace it with. It doesn't have an external oscillator and it should be powered by only the same 5V that powers the USB devices.

@miles Whats the function of this board ? Part Numbers are whiped off the DIL-16 ... Source of this PCB ?

@DigiDavidex aliexpress, ma non l'ho preso io. Ma se vai all'euronics o al mediaworld (o dai cinesi sotto casa) probabilmente trovi qualcosa di meglio

Tuttavia non mi capacito del perché scrivere insistentemente "il terzo miglior tempo" non solo nel titolo (ché si sa che i titolisti sono dei simpatici terroristi del giornalismo) ma anche nell'articolo stesso.
L'impressione è che i concetti di base non siano chiari neanche al giornalista
