Andare in bici quando piove è facile come camminare quando piove: basta un impermeabile.

Got my first fat bike 11 years ago, an army green Surley Pugsley called ‘The Hulk’. That winter the kid and I discovered it could pull a sled on packed biking trails.Long intro on the video, beat kicks in at 2:00. It's not until 3:20 you realize the dog's been with us the whole time. How many snowshoers can you spot?https://youtu.be/yZjgPJnuSmI#BikeTooter

Tonight's cycling excitement:Ripping along the bikepath at a decent pace (30+km/h) in the dark when all of a sudden there's a clunk and a great rawr from the back wheel and I see sparks getting flown forward past me.I stopped and jumped off very quickly.... and noticed the bike was not in fact on fire or any such thing.Investigate with torch...The chunky plastic reflector attached to one of the spokes had broken free and lodged itself crosswise near the hub; so for the few brief seconds it took me to react and stop it was getting thrashed against the frame with bits flying off it and getting brightly reflected in my headlight.Pulled the reflector loose and chucked it in my handlebar bag, then continued on as usual.Further inspection shows no actual damage (besides the reflector), but faaark, that frightened me when it happened.#BikeTooter

Here’s something a little bit different.A fantastic short film about a 12-day, 2,400-kilometre race in 1960s #Quebec The views are stunning, the soundtrack is brilliant, and the bikes (and cars!) are absolutely gorgeous. It’s called 60 Cycles — and apart from a few words here and there, there’s no narration. Just pure cycling, rhythm, and motion. It’s really, really cool — hope you enjoy it, and maybe catch a little glimpse of my country too. 🇨🇦https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KotsGmYl8A#BikeTooter #Canada
