As US-based #weather models (especially the UFS from NOAA) are becoming less accurate with cuts to funding for scientific research, I’ve added @stefano’s helpful, localized #FediMeteo to my #Mastodon feed. Over the past year I’ve found its Euro-modeled forecasts to be more reliable.

Torbay isn't listed, but then Torbay is 3 towns and not a city so I will just follow Exeter. But thanks for this, I will follow and also add you to my ever expanding Fediverse page on my website.

@zleap @aleciabatson Hello Paul! I'll have a look at it tomorrow morning. If it's a small town, it could not be present on Open-Meteo. In case, is there another place we could use as a reference, but close enough?

Posso capire chi, per motivi lavorativi, debba garantire una costante reperibilità, ma gli altri?Personalmente, la sera prima di andare a dormire, telefono spento e in carica, pronto per la mattina successiva (quando è tanto scarico, sopra l'80% non lo ricarico mai).

@kenobit sto ascoltando l'audiolibro, intanto oggi ho ordinato anche il cartaceo per sostenere il tuo ottimo lavoro. Negli ultimi mesi, poco alla volta, su telefono e PC sono sempre più presenti alternative open source che sostituiscono le classiche commerciali. Finché non provi, per pigrizia o abitudine, non ti accorgi di quante alternative, spesso anche migliori, ci sono praticamente per tutto. Grazie per la spinta 😉
