@szakib to me also looks like that there probably was some plastic or rubbery seal. I would cut a slice from old innertube, take stem away for a while and slide it in there.Electrical tape would be easier. High tech solution would be to 3d print that part.

One of the supports of my bike roof broke. Now it's repaired. Just needed a manual saw, drill, file, wrench. Did it with materials I already had so it took less than an hour. I'm still not completely satisfied with this roof that swings too much when driving on irregular roads, which is a source of noise, and also why it ended broken...#DIY #CargoBike #Bike

@ingobecker @jerzone @tinx I use a spray product called Corrosion-X to remove and prevent rust aboard my boat, which lives in a saltwater environment. I think it might be something worth considering for a bike chain or any metal part that is susceptible to rust.
