@jerzone I had to wrap my old bike bars and watched many videos, and it feels like an art to do right, and I just don't do it enough to get the feel for it. I wrap a bar every few years how am I ever to get good at it?
@LovesTha @omad I've also done that last one (though with a slightly smaller 24" wheel bike). Those other options look scary and unstable to me but as long as everyone/thing arrives in one piece, it's probably all good!
Dropper post came in while I was away, now waiting for the Cable/Nut Kit. I temporarily designed/printed one to test things out and the modified brifter has activated its first dropper!The challenges (from my limited experience) seem to be:1. get cable housing pushed out of seat tube enough to hook up dropper 2. find better spot for barrel adjuster to allow #1 3. tidy up4. profit! #BikeTooter
@dfx4509b @StaceyCornelius Agreed in principle, but dunno if you noticed where we're from. A "highway" in AK or CA may just be a skinny road with 1 lane each direction and no shoulders, so wildlife crossings are definitely NOT happening.
