@Aubrieta It's usually a day or two before they dry up. I think that stops mold or rot vs going into the ground wet.They'll grow fine without cutting too, but you just don't get as high a yield from them. 😄
@kellyromanych i am not a scratch pastry cook so I cheat using grocery store frozen phyllo sheets instead. Cream cheese/fruit filling usually, though baklava is well received too.
