Do you keep a glass, cup or bottle of water by your bed when you sleep?
-
@evan I did, until our youngest cat discovered that knocking it over in the middle of the night produces engagement.
-
@evan missing the response "sometimes" ☺️🖖
-
@evan no, but I get up 4-5 times every night to pee and drink water
-
@evan
I wonder if the response varies by climate.. Here there's just no need. -
@evan Yes (a water bottle), but I often forget and have to get up to get it from my desk. (Like today, and it was empty so I had to refill! 🥲)
-
@evan I do, but half the time it's empty because I forget or am too lazy to fill the bottle after I've finished it. But technically the bottle is there and is *supposed* to contain water.
-
If anyone says "no, but I keep a *tumbler* of water by the bed when I sleep" that's an instant block.
@evan I mean it’s more of a canteen
-
@evan
No, if needed the kitchen is close enough; but also I only wake up to put "water" out, not put water in. -

@copiesofcopies so help me
-
@evan We have a cat. If we had any container of water by the bed, it wouldn't end well.
-
@evan No...but sometimes I wish I did.
Partner surely does. -
@evan No, but I wish I could. I will knock that shit over while I sleep.

@BathysphereHat what about a water bottle?

@evan I tend to knock it off the table, which wakes Derek and me up.
