Pretty interesting how an old hardware works well and compute well in the strange configurations.Prereqs: Intel Atom N2800 1866 MHz and 2 Gb RAM.Since there are no NetBSD builds of xray-core and v2raya — I spin up a FreeBSD VM inside the Qemu and without NVMM accelerator (not supported by my CPU). Execute these programs inside this VM — and the server still running and even doesn't overload #NetBSD #FreeBSD #Qemu #IntelAtom #SelfHosting

Goodbye to Pop!OS and cosmic desktop, at least for now. Tonight I installed #Freebsd 14.3 on my first generation core-i series Dell laptop. The Intel Centrino wireless is supported, which is great news. Hopefully I'll figure out what steps I'm missing to get it to connect.Modules are loaded, rc.conf edited, the interface is up / shows up with ifconfig, but it doesn't scan. It looks like the regulatory domain was set automatically during setup. So I'm not sure what I'm missing.I don't think I've every used a BSD with wifi, so it's a new challenge. Everything is a bit different than I'm used to. At least my old habit of typing ifconfig actually works, unlike on Linux these days.

@winterschon yes I have the boot log from both succesful and failed images. After numerous trial and errors (manual hook, compiled u-boot for r2s plus via ports), I found that there is no trust.img from FreeBSD, that's why nanopi skipped the sdcard. I flashed armbian (working image) trust.img to the sd card and Nanopi showed loader error.maybe I need to recompile the u-boot with ATF load turned off?
