Fediverse is about caring for relationships and taking responsibility for what you post; it's about how you perceive yourself in relation to others. Raise all the critical issues regarding wsocial, but remember that, as things stand, Mastodon protocol does not guarantee data protection (feeds and other data are public and grabbable via public APIs). Please remember this, if your goal is mass-adoption of fedi.

The battle against the techbros is very important among those bigger problems.

So much of the current global craziness is a consequence of people consuming media that can easily be used for centralized individualized mass manipulation.

That's EXACTLY what my first impression with the media coverage about WSocial was! Even the investigative journalist Lars Wienand for T-Online! He did a little bit more than copying the Press Release, but he didn't question WSocial at all!

So we really NEED your blog article! Don't listen to the loudest voices this time! 👍
