@_elena I intend to delete my account when the age verification goes live as a way of sending a message to them. I always found Discord too complex. For example, I’d get a push notification when someone made a post, so I’d tap on the notification thinking it would take me to the post but instead it just took me to the server and forced me to hunt for the post. I’ve turned off all notifications. I can’t remember when I last checked any servers I’m a member of.

so you DO deliberatly decide to cut posts that do not suit your idea of your plattform, thereby making a mockery of the whole idea of the federation of plattforms, am I getting this right?

@rwaschbaer @dansup @pfefferle just to add my two cents: when I want to read a lot of text, I don't go to Pixelfed. just like I didn't bother about lots of text on Instagram. imo Pixelfed is a platform with an emphasis on images. there are other platforms for text-based posting

It's a humbling experience. Most people know literally nothing about tech, as in trying to install iOS apps on Android.
