In regards to Framework’s latest footgunning, lemme reiterate two things:

1. Tech is and always has been political. Anyone saying otherwise simply wants to avoid being held accountable for their words and actions.

2. “Big tent” policies do one thing: loudly express that you’re perfectly okay becoming the neighborhood nazi bar.

@jackeric It’s essentially a Popper “Paradox of Tolerance” thing. Fascists and bigots rely on being able to abuse the “big tent” principles in order to infest, disrupt, and dismantle communities.
