Biked to Alewife to pick up car. Had a few possible routes sketched out, but trying to navigate phone maps and streets in the biting windchill was a bit much. Went with one I'd memorized. Passed by a ghost bike on Mass ave: 💔 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_bike#BikeTooter

Another Alaska to Argentina YT series, “Dan Cycles the World” from the UK. When given the choice he’ll almost always go for harder, more remote routes, occasionally ditching the bike to hike interesting mountains. Having watched 21 episodes so far I’d say his catchphrase is that every view is absolutely the most beautiful he's seen and completely worth the trouble/time/pain. This was put into stark perspective when his non-bikepacking friend joined for a while. @lgsp @ciclismo ti ringrazio molto per la proposta ma io sul vestiario sono abbastanza insopportabile.. ho bisogno di vederlo, toccarlo, provarlo, fissare un punto fisso per quelle 12/13 ore per pensare alla sua reale necessità e utilità.... e insomma se comprassi un poncho online non sono sicuro che riuscirei a preservare la mia sanità mentale 😂Potrei andare a vedere da un rivenditore Tucano ma non so bene cosa potrei trovare in zona
