    @nuintari It was 2006, I think (or 2007 at the latest), and I went with a colleague to a company - the same one that, incidentally, gave us some decommissioned Digital AlphaStations. They showed me a machine (not connected to the network, obviously) that they were still using for payroll. I couldn't quite tell what it was exactly, but it was some kind of Unix system and it had been rebooted for the last time... in 1986. I believe it’s the longest uptime I’ve ever seen.

    #Debian è sempre Debian. Avevo un portatile di tipo 10 anni (o forse più), l'ho piallato e gli ho montato #Trixie (ha su un SSD e non più un HDD) e tutto fila liscio come l'olio: stabile, veloce, nessun problema con i driver. Scontato? Per niente.P.S. Semplice sperimento. #Linux

    As some of you know, I have moved over to Linux. I have tried different distributions, but using Ubuntu at this time. I have found one issue. When I click links in other apps and they open in Vivaldi, there is a notification that the page is ready, instead of just taking me to the page. Seems to be a generic issue and I have looked and found that there are extensions to get rid of this, but IMHO this should rather be a setting and I would have thought that most users would like for things just to be opened. Any reason why it is done this way? It adds a lot of extra steps that should not be needed.#Linux #Gnome
