New blog post, a bit of an addendum to my older microblogging protocols comparison post(s) until I do an updated version at some point. It mostly just goes over a handful of big events and shifts I've personally noticed since my last post in the summer of 2024.

@mayel @evana @scottjenson @mastodonmigration @stefan It would only make it a little more difficult. The 'brigading' is now a two-step process for every participant.
The vector is really the 'followers-only' option. If we want to keep it, no way around sending a mandatory copy to a designated 'brigading moderator'.

I've improved federation support for Lemmy and other servers that support FEP-1b12 Group Federation.
I had to increase the number of available file descriptors on my personal server 4x because of the resultant inbound volume of ActivityPub activities! I liked a federated post and DOSed my server.

Kann mir jemand erklären, wieso dieser Blog-Post nicht angezeigt wird? Das ist #Wordpress mit #activitypub aber irgendwie geht das nicht. Beim #OstBlog geht alles. Ich finde aber keine Einstellung, die ich ändern könnte.
Es heißt einefach immer "Beitragsveröffentlichung ausstehend".
