@magpieluvseeds Will not add to the many suggestions but will say this: good of you to think about the health of the fediverse. Kudos. 💚🐳

#AskFedi : How to bulk download all emails in inbox from #Yahoo email? I confess, I do not have a good habit of archiving and backing-up my emails. Now my inbox is booming and reaching ~10k emails since I have subscribed to a few mail lists. I do have #Alpine set up locally on my laptop to read them once in a while. I tried Select All and Save in Alpine however it is too slow and easily fail simply because it took so long that remote server would kill the connection.#FOSS #Unix #Linux

Are there any #ornithologists ? I have a dumb question about sparrows (both house sparrow and eurasian tree sparrow).Near 3 days ago, I saw a lot of sparrows on the streets. Also a lot of them flew to my window to eat some seeds. Despite the air temperature was near 0°C.But suddenly, after one night all sparrows are disappeared from the streets — I see no one, only another species: crows, wagtails and tits.First, I thought that all sparrows are migrated somewhere. But from Wikipedia I learned that they may migrate only to nearby rural areas to eat some insects, if there are no food in the city. But (again) in my district are enough bird feeders with food.So I really have a question — where (and why) are all the sparrows flew? I live at the outskirts of city with a big count of trees and a small forest nearby, so looks like here should be good conditions for birds #ornithology #sparrow #migration #AskFedi
