One nice thing about #IPv6: Even with a low-cost VPS, you get more addresses than you ever need. Perfect when experimenting with #Jails, for instance. If a Jail needs IPv4 WAN access, simply allow NAT64 on the host system.
BTW, I'm surprised how many "major" news sites don't have an IPv6 address.

@cR0w okay, give them a few days for the patching & QA work - maybe up to a week? Zero days if a functioning workaround is known (even if with degradated performance/functionality).
Little bonus:Want to see ONLY Jail processes, sorted by CPU%?This command filters out the host system (JID 0) and sorts the rest by Jail ID and CPU usage:ps -ax -o jid,jail,pid,user,%cpu,%mem,command | awk 'NR==1 {print; next} $1!=0 {print | "sort -k1n -k5rn"}'#freebsd #sysadmin #devops #jails #commandline
I'm using Bastille to run jails on FreeBSD 15.0-RELEASE.Does it matter (to Bastille) if I use templates, or can I just manually apply the setup from a template's Bastillefile?Bastillefile example:https://github.com/BastilleBSD/templates/blob/main/databases/mariadb-server/Bastillefile#freebsd #bastille #jails
