it was modeled after a russian student

@mynameistillian@plush.city This such a strange thing. But I heard that for packages from Germany to Austria (Austrias Postcode is only 4 digits) you may enter a zero in front and may still get the package.

how do you enter your postcode if in your country postcodes are six characters long but the visa form only has space for five because they're five characters long in czech republic?
i am really afraid of messing up and getting a visa denial over small crap like that, and my visa coordinator is offline bc it's saturday
so please help or

It's most likely fine to enter it in the box anyway but make sure it doesn't look like a mistake -

@zoec @mynameistillian Well, some non-portable so-called "Portable Document Format" documents embed horrible cursed JS that could do stuff, but it seems the Czech are not using this abominations from Adobe.

@mynameistillian Not funny because of your stressful context, but I laughed hard indeed 😬 — /airhug from a French-born living in Switzerland, having sometimes to explain the looooong and hard way to limited people that postcodes and phone numbers here are not THE SAME 😅 (the exotism and profound differences between these specific 2 countries, right? 🙄)

@mynameistillian I find solace in the fact that if we are still at the “filling in paperwork with solid chances of getting approved smoothly” experience of it, we are privileged (and given my demographics, me above a lot of people), but yeah.

I only ever post when I have something concrete to show. It means I have less engagement, but it also means I never over promise.
It does not mean I am right. I think the right balance lies somewhere in between.

@liaizon @rimu @silverpill you need to handle incoming activities, but your response can be dynamic taking in uris of quoted object and quoting object. i think someone was talking about implementing a stamp generator as an endpoint using query parameters -- you could include that in your response
