@joelpomales @afreytes I had the luck to come across something he wrote about himself in an effort to criticize DEI giving it as a the reason why he was fired from his previous job at a bank to be replaced by a Black person —which wouldn't be damning by itself, if not for the fact that in that same writeup Scott candidly admitted to being actually incompetent at his job. Very eye opening.

@KFears @FarmingWarMech almost always when I post something like, "ficking ABC sucks whenever I try to XYZ"I just want to know that ABC also sucks for other people. Or that BCD sucks in a similar way. Or that, "ABC never worked for me so I switched to LMN" But some people go like, "Trying to XYZ on ABC is dumb when LMN exists." And the judgement in the reply makes it odious for me. Especially because I most probably tried BCD and LMN but they didn't do everything that ABC does.

@afreytes No no, I'm convinced it's actually a bad movie at the end of a bad Sequel trilogy, that desperately wants to show it's (legally official) connection to the original movies and the Star Wars IP.There is no point at all in this story nothing really leads to anything and everything that should feel important actually just feels like a bad imitation of the original movies.

@vivtek I didn't know this but the "Hero" is called Master Control... As in, like a callback to the original movie.It is my firm belief that any movie, and especially any Disney movie, where a previously villainous name, character, or entity is now the "hero" is just a bs cashgrab for men who think they are "badass"... and therefore not for me.

@afreytes I can tell why I did that to you (and everybody else): I get follow requests for bigger toots and let them pile up for a bit. Then I calmly go over them. I don’t instantly accept a follow request unless I already know the person.The main thing here is that I’m in this for human connections, so I’m interested in mutuals. If it feels like the person reflexively hit the follow button (especially if they didn’t interact before, as per the instructions in my bio), I’ll either reject it or leave it on hold until I figure out if we’re a good fit to be mutuals.

I don't usually like extraction anything. That said I have been trying to play The Forever Winter.I am not good at this game. Like extremely not good. I have died way more times than extracted. Way more. No really. Even on the training mission.#DistractingMyselfFromTheHorrors

I bought a cheap small form factor PC with Windows.I figure I will install Visual Studio Pro on it, and stick it in a closet with Ethernet and UPS and leave it. Setup wake on LAN and whatnot.That way whenever I need VS I can just spin that up and connect remotely to it. And if that works I can stop worrying about dual booting on my other machines.Crossing fingers.

I am sorry, but I am tired of the "I know better" reply guys.
