Hi all, we’re pausing the comic this week to announce something new on our online shop. We’ve added some cool new stickers to our shop, and two of the designs are, well they’re just kind of topical right now. The federal violence and terror being inflicted on Minneapolis and around the US is unacceptable. It has been extremely heart-warming to see the affected communities responding with bravery, compassion, and resolve. We want to do something to try and help. When you buy either the Democracy Enjoyer Vinyl Sticker or the Ice Breaker Vinyl Sticker, we will donate all of the proceeds to a fund making sure community members of Minneapolis impacted by the ongoing assault can meet their basic needs, including rent. We had a "good emergency" tonight at our original free fridge!Someone dropped off *too much* food and it didn't fit into the pantry and refrigerator. There was also a lot of boxes left over!So a call went out to discord and five people showed up to sort and put away what could fit, clean up the boxes, AND take the extra food to the new free fridge as well as a local "little free pantry" that a local girl scout troop set up! Oh, fun thing! While we were putting away the original food drop off, two other folks came and dropped off their own supplies. We pointed them to the other fridges/pantries for the future and took what they dropped off as well to spread around.Also, while we were there multiple families and folks came by and utilized a lot of the food! I had a 7 inch mass removed from my neck, the surgery was 4 hours long and they needed to do alot of cutting and excavating, im in alot of pain and all the medication they gave me is making me sick. the scar across my neck is about 6 inches long, it and everything beneath it hurts like crazy. all i can do is sit and face forward, i cant even lay down.
