    @wjmaggos@liberal.city I think that thinking of "anything" being boostable is both weird and expected at the same time. We hold these thoughts in our heads concurrently because it was how the web-at-large (indieweb notwithstanding) worked. What I mean is... A news article isn't a discrete resource shared on a common social web — such a construct does not exist outside of the Fediverse. ... but news articles are littered with "share via..." buttons that sort of approximate the experience.

    Release v3.2.1 of Ktistec adds support for bookmarking posts. I'd like to make followed hashtags more consumable.     @evan @phi > We have some ad hoc ways to move from one to the other, but they aren't built into the SMTP or IMAP specsyes they are, though? in IMAP, you can just copy your messages and folders from one inbox to another. in SMTP, we have email forwarding.using your own DNS name can make things easier, but the main challenge in fedi is that we don't have a common storage/access abstraction (equivalent to IMAP folders), and we don't recognize HTTP redirects (equivalent to SMTP forwarding).
