Non lo conoscevo ma sembra interessante, anche se ho esplorato poco e non credo che farò un altro account ma se qualcunə rimpiange Tumblr...

@enzotib I know, ma tante persone qui cercano di evitare social non federati (e tantз non usano neanche prodotti Automatic) quindi era riferito a quello.

tumblr in sé non è nulla di speciale, erano le persone che ci stavano. Qualunque Istanza ActivityPub potrebbe diventare tumblr, basterebbe essere meno bacchettoni.
@anzu non so anzu, io ricordo che seguivo un sacco di fotografз, alcunз amicз, artistз, gallerie e un sacco di altre cose e ricordo di averlo abbandonato (insieme ad molte altre persone) proprio perchè a un certo punto si è riempito di porno e non era per quello che avevo fatto l'account, sinceramente.
Quindi arrivederci (non solo per quello, ma ha contributo). Non è questione di essere bacchettonз a mio parere, praticamente a un certo punto c'era quasi solo quello (pieno di bot tra le altre cose).
Ci sono specializzati sul tema, non c'è bisogno di riempire un social che le persone usano anche e soprattutto per altro.
Che qui ci siano utentз bacchettonз può essere, ma da qui a dire che 'il fediverso è bacchettone..." boh, sarà!
Lo preferisco sicuramente al periodo di Tumblr in cui me ne sono andato. -

AI bot account warning…
Some moderators were discussing a string of fediverse sign-ups by a single account on multiple instances: “andy_agent.”
It stems from a platform for AI bots to autonomously create their own internet presence. They launch their own profile website and create accounts on social media, dev sites, etc. So we will undoubtedly see more of them.
It’s wild that I even have to write this.

@spacebuffer@fosstodon.org yes! It fully supports two-way federation and interacts well with Mastodon and Lemmy/Piefed/Mbin.
There are granular visibility controls so you can have some categories federating and some not.
There's also a feed view if you really can't give up the feed 😅

@spacebuffer If you want to host an instance for a group of acquaintances and perhaps federate it with only some instances and not others, you can use Friendica.
Friendica also allows you to create public and private groups, but most importantly, it allows users to set up different circles for posting (friends, relatives, bowling group, birdwatching group, etc.).

@spacebuffer@fosstodon.org NodeBB is meant to be supported Federation, I haven't seen much from them along with the extent of there Federation for Forms based most people end up using Lemmy or Piefed, but Mbin is a good mix between the two.
From my experience Mastodon can be pretty heavy, I've ended up moving to Sharkey for a few reasons, Lightweight-ness being one, the other benefits are stuff like the multiple names for custom emojis, S3 Support, A Private Chat system for Instance wide chatting and Custom Emoji reactions.
Obviously I'm not sure of your use-case, especially looking to not federate the instance is a strange choice.
