I'm going to plant out as many varieties as practical and see what grows well in my particular climate, but also grow others in greenhouses to get more seeds.
Sometime soon I'll post the list to Ariadne Systems' blog (which is under construction.)

very nice!
I've spent odd hours all winter databasing my seeds and setting up to have that feed into planting/transplanting/harvest records, since I want to know what I have and what I did and how *they* did...
I've been looking at the dozens of "small farm support" software offerings and I'm getting unhappy about who winds up in control of the long term data if you use them.

Ah, another JL Hudson customer. ๐ธ Of the few plants I haven't managed to kill, most of them started as seeds from that catalog.
But I've had more luck with Salsola tragus than any other species. -

@carapace
That's a nice lot of seeds, but most of all PSB!
I kept mine going for 4 years in the polytunnel despite getting attacked by chickens.
It's so delicious and easy to grow. Plus the season is different to other broccoli and most green veg. -

@clew Yeah, my memory is a sieve these days, I have to take notes if I want any chance at remembering what plant is where.
Have you checked out FarmOS? That's the only one I've looked at, a bit. They have their datamodels published up front, right on the website: https://farmos.org/model/

I heard there was a guy selling tumbleweed, he had two niche markets: Hollywood (for Westerns) and Japan (there was an interior decorating fad, I gather. Put a dried tumbleweed in the corner.)
