Whenever I let my hair grow in the past one of the few places I still trim are sideburns. This year, I thought I would just leave them be as well. I mean, Logan looks cool, right?

Now then my hair is pleasantly roly poly curly. My sideburns are too. Which means my sideburns are constantly tickling my ears now. A feeling I have seldom experienced before.

#iThinkImNormal but I find that sensation so extreme that I can hardly concentrate. I might trim the sideburns. We'll see.

I want "local grass"

I'm fine-tuning my fake scaling solution. I was simplifying my char's surroundings so I can see if the effect is working as intended. But with no other features in the ground and the char not being animated it's hard to tell if it is moving or not.

Hence, it would be cool to have "local grass". Grass that spawns near the player so there's the sense of moving past/thru.

Might like into it later. Godot Shaders has a couple I think.

I have a story about today's minimarket trip after the beer but I don't want to make 10 toots and crowd anyone's feed with even more of my nonsense.

I know more neighbor's dog names than I know neighbor names. But not this one German Shepherd who I thought his owner was in law enforcement and the dog a K-9.

Literally the most trained dog in the neighborhood. When they walk past the house the dog doesnt even look anywhere but front and center.

But lately... Instead of the stern looking dude, I see a woman walking the German Shepherd. And it dawns on me the man might have been deployed to the mideast. Conjecture.

But I'm sad for the doggo.

Some of the corvette builds I have seen in No Man's Sky are pretty impressive.

I still prefer my exotic, but maybe I should read a primer on what glitches can be achieved with unmodded NMS corvette builds.

cuz I love the signs, and the people that care enough to make them, they give me hope in these dark times. and we may be right that signs dont do shit, but it is wrong that we say so. because signs also are art.

I feel like, expecting people to go straight into violent revolution is just... Do I even have to explain it?

Expecting people to operate under my parameters, which I have taken ME decades, is unrealistic. Sure, I can try to teach what I have learned but there's no substitute for lived experience.

And so we should be gracious amd kind and support the voting people and the protesting people. To meet them were they are, and be ready to drag them to our side when they stumble.

In these two instances... Voting and Protesting

In perhaps these two instances alone... I think the people who say voting/protesting is useless should shut the fuck up!

And I say that with all the love in my heart. And doubling down on, that I am actually on the side of the people that should shut the fuck up.

Because I think, people should vote and keep voting, so they see it doesnt work. People should protest every single time so they see it does not work.

I think people should vote. Even if it doesnt seem to change much. Similarlly, I think people should protest, for any reason, specially when it seems it won't change much.

But I agree, and I am actually on the side of people who say voting is useless. And I agree with the people that say nonviolent protests are useless, I extremely agree.
