Almost forgot: rounded corner on the single track to find a porcupine standing in middle of trail. I’m fumbling with camera trying to get a photo when I hear “galloping" sounds coming from behind and that's when I remember … there's a dog on the ride.
“Roo! Leave it!” I yell as porcupine heads for the hills and Roo looks like she's headed for a face full of quills. Roo stops, looks back at me, looks at porcupine, and luckily stays in place as it waddled off.
Never did get that photo.

Today's phlebotomist looked over the right arm and picked a vein, “Looks the best. I like it to be ‘one and done’.” he declared.
Except it had a blowout. Bandaged it up, moved to left arm, and slowly got a good IV put in along with tape to reinforce.
“Two and through?” I offered.

Last time I got an MRI the contrast didn’t go in due to a messed up IV. Had to come back a week later and do it all again. These injections are sizable. Unlike the little squirt of saline solution when testing the IV, MRI contrast is blasted in with dual high pressure syringes.

26°F/-3.3°C low this morning and it's a frosty one.

What I mostly remember about "sleeping" lately is the flip-flip-flipping all night long. There's complicated dreams that try to tie into it, but nothing can quite encompass all of that flipping.
