Incredibly, at least one PCjr actually worked right off. I bought a bunch of PCjr stuff from someone ages ago, three computers and a bunch of random other junk from the big Computer Reset sale. I'm cleaning out my junk room and just reached the PCjr pile, or one of them.
First keyboard didn't work, and the computer made a frantic arrhythmic beeping until I swapped in another...this one a chiclet.

The first time I saw an Amiga exclusive game, I thought, "Graphics and sound can't possibly get any better than this, this is amazing." And, I was right. They never got better.

Molly White over on Bsky has a probably innocent explanation for that 1919 arm tattoo. So, maybe he just has the one Nazi tattoo, which he has covered with iconography in questionable taste.
He covered up the Nazi Totenkopf, and now we see he has 1919 on his arm. And, while I don't want to assume anything and I can't see the whole context...1919 is the year the German Workers Party was formed. Which feels like a deep cut Nazi tattoo. Also, the 19th letter of the alphabet is S. So...yeah, not looking good for the silly young lad who innocently got an SS Panzer Totenkopf tattoo without knowing what it means.

Inflation has gone nuts. Just paid twenty bucks for one entree from a Chinese place. Nothing fancy, and while I've never been to this particular place and the food was quite good, I would have expected vegetable delight with tofu to be about ten to twelve bucks.
I don't want to be an old man with an onion tied to my belt, but, really, everything has gotten remarkably more expensive in such a short time.
@SistaWendy @futurebird and, most of the competition is worse at it. Google and Microsoft don't host their businesses in their own public cloud offering. Amazon runs on AWS. So, if you move, you're probably downgrading to a worse experience (though I tend to try to avoid AWS, anyway).

But, also have to hand it to my neighbors in this case. This neighborhood is terrible about animal welfare, but when a person is obviously in trouble, several folks showed up to see what was going on and try to help.
@schwegler this is true, though. Never been happier than when I could walk to two Asian markets, a Mediterranean market, a library, and a dozen restaurants. The large grocery store was a little further away, but an easy bike ride.
Man, religion really does a number on people. Just met a guy calling himself Man of God who's trying to not eat or drink anything for a week, while walking all day in Texas heat. He was laying on the sidewalk face down. Wouldn't take water. A neighbor called 911, EMTs came, not sure if he left with them or if he walked on. He's no longer on the sidewalk, anyway. I don't know what kind of safety net helps folks like that but we definitely don't have enough of one.
