New instance, new #introduction. This is my second instance, and it feels rather like moving house: familiar & foreign at the same time.I like to fix things and participate in our local #RepairCafe. I also play Bass Clarinet with our local concert band.I am enthusiastic about the power of the #Fediverse, and hope to continue contributing to this funny, serious, familiar, and foreign place.

@tainome @lackattack Paging @David

@sindum @liaizon @julian also it's token-hungry the way a slot machine is, and just as manipulative. Seems that the mindset of people that get easily sucked into spending lots of money on chasing the perfect prompt is the same mindset that can get caught up in slot machine gambling (it's the same addiction mechanism) and house always wins.

@ayo @elk Love it 😍

hi #fediverse people, humble #request :can we agree on not having bots using the #rss tag? hashtags should be used to talk about the thing or linking topics not just to say ''this is from an rss feed'', otherwise it could become quickly useless to follow hashtags at all; probably it happens also in other hashtags but on the rss one is clear

@stux @haubles Thanks Stux. I know I chose a great server back in the day. 😊What should I do when I come across a server like tsst ? Is there a way to forward/report it? It might save a lot of time, if the offending server was blocked at server level... or ... do you already check them out??

RE: https://fediway.com/@honeywinter/116266645464096630It was a blast, super inspiring, many learnings and great people. Stay tuned! #fediverse #socials #digitalsovereignity #publicSpaces

@stefano @mynotes @itnotes Bravo Stefano!

Yup do as @trwnh@mastodon.social and @silverpill@mitra.social say and implement fb2a. It is supported by NodeBB and WordPress already.

@raffomania ooh, updating now!

@julian @astro I need to eventually come back to this to add more ongoing synchronization of people I follow on prayer AP services as well as hashtags

@john_fisherman @swf so, I hope you find other ways to make the Fediverse better.

I love all the creative Mastodon instance thumbnails😍 https://fedisea.surf/servers?software=mastodon#FediSea #Mastodon #Fediverse
