Is there a way to set recurring tasks (daily, every Wednesday etc) in #NextCloud tasks?

@Sascha thank you Sascha. I used to be stuff like that on my other VPS - which had a Ghost-CLI installation. With YunoHost I don't dare go in the backend to touch anything, lest I disrupt something. I have too many important apps in that installation. I'm not incurring in any extra costs... it's just that a social networking app caches media, avatars and emojis of everyone I follow. I found an old backup from December 2024 when I was only following one account and it was 256 MB! Pruning the list of people I follow - it overlaps with my Mastodon account - may be the way to go 😅

Help! I've talked someone into being curious about (fragment) shader-ing ala shadertoy, but I can't find a decent node-based GUI for shader editing that has decent ergonomics but is also close enough to GLSL structurally to allow shadertoy-like mathy exploration. So far everything I've seen fails in a significant way on either of these:- Blender: separate "Math" and "Vector Math" nodes. "Math" node with drop-down instead of granular primitives- Godot: "Function" node with drop-down instead of granular primitives- Unity: uh ... i just don't want to do this to them i think- cables.gl: no vector types at all??? setup a bit elaborate- https://victhorlopez.github.io/editor/ closest so far; polymorphic functions but doesn't auto-cast values; UX a bit underdone ...surely there would be a web tool for this given the popularity of SDFs etc???#askfedi #glsl #shader

any networking nerds want to point me at where i might look to diagnose home network sluggishness? basically, i'm getting between 20kB/s and 1MB/s transferring files via rsync over ssh. source (primary driver laptop) and destination (multimedia server) machines are both hard-wired to the same router. maybe i expect too much? was thinking like 50MB/s....mtr results (no idea if this is good, bad, or relevant):Loss%: 0.0%Snt: 10Last: 63.0Avg: 66.2Best: 59.7Wrst: 71.9StDev: 4.1#AskFedi

@juliette My step mom used to teach middle school deaf cohort in a public school system alongside other teachers with hearing challenges, though she herself was hearing. The easiest answer is to write stuff down if it's important, and the second answer nobody wants is to speak more succinctly or come to terms with the fact that even hearing people are bad at paying attention. Listening takes energy, more energy with an obstacle, and while asking if you can accommodate is commendable (continues)
