I bought a gaming PC. It's the first time I buy a computer for the express purpose of playing games*. I usually play on consoles.
I wanted to do a custom build. But this prebuilt seems good enough and has most of the things I had in my parts list. Plus I sort of got abnormal work-related deal to make it cost less. And...
I got it for my birthday. For this year's birthday. Which, I was told once, it was probable I wouldn't reach it.
But now the thing is here.

First result: Visual Studio... OK I use that
Second result: A motherfuckin (childrenfuckin?) pastor... Something I would NEVER ever in a 100 lifetimes willingly search for.

Takeaways from 30 minutes of streaming.
1) I don't know what to say
2) 30 minutes is a long ass time in stream time
3) I was sweating
4) Godot 4.5 did not actually break any of my prototypes (but I wasn't expecting it to)
5) Most importantly: Godot 4.5 did do something to how lighting works. OR the way I do lighting doesn't vibe with 4.5 and I will need to check that. I already knew there were some changes with lighting in Godot but I didn't expect it would affect me.

Fridays when I used to work in an office, were sorta stressful. People wanted to do everything on Friday, the stuff they failed to do the whole week previous. And by "People wanted", I mean that they would demand programmers, operators, sysadmins to fuck up their weekend plans for a bullshit release of corporate digital miasma.
Now that there's less people Friday in the office, all that pushing has just vanished.
People need their home to feel centered and less anxious I guess.

Oh boy! I got one of those "I hope these email finds you well" emails. They are asking for an updated resume. And they sent me probably the last resume I ever made which was more than 10 years ago!
I am VERY tempted to write them back and say, "Wow, thanks for the trip down memory lane. Unfortunately, "AI" slop has rendered resumes useless. But I could consider lunch. Or coffee, your Starbucks or mine?"
